Ken Tough and Jose Day

Ken Tough OBE is an occupation historian and a former HM Greffier. He has written numerous articles for the Channel Islands Occupation Review and worked with José Day and Steve Foote to publish Louis Guillemette’s Occupation diaries, as The People’s Messenger in 2022.

José Day is the daughter of Louis Guillemette, and she worked with Ken Tough and Steve Foote to publish his Occupation diaries as The People’s Messenger in 2022. José was a member of the Ladies’ College Board for twenty years and was instrumental in securing permission from the Ladies’ College to republish The Battle of Newlands.
