Ticketing Terms and Conditions
All tickets booked via Ticket Source are bound by their terms and conditions.
By booking tickets with the Guernsey Literary Festival (the GLF), whether online, by phone or in person you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and to follow these terms:
Payment must be made at the time of booking either by cash/cheque/direct transfer/card payment.
All tickets purchased will incur a booking fee which is added to the ticket price at the point of purchase, with the exception of free events.
Exchanges and Refunds: Before placing a booking, carefully review your event and ticket selection. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the Event is cancelled or moved to another date.
Booking Fees: Will not be refunded in the event of cancellation by the customer.
If an event is cancelled by the GLF due to illness or catastrophic events, then refunds will be given on application.
If an event is moved to another date by GLF, then all tickets purchased will be valid on the new date. If you are unable to attend the revised date, tickets may be refundable on application.
We believe in the privacy of our customers - please refer to our privacy policy.
The GLF reserves the right to change any event without prior notice. A standard booking fee is charged for all ticket bookings. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, except in the case of a cancelled event.
All ticket prices are listed for adults (18 and over) and children (17 and under) unless otherwise stated.
For safety, those attending events with a child’s ticket (aged 15 and below) need to be accompanied by a ticket holder aged 18 or over. Age guidance is just a recommendation – you know your child best – but all our family events are conducted in a relaxed environment.
Everyone over the age of 12 months is allocated a seat and requires a ticket, while babies in arms (12 months and under) do not require a ticket unless otherwise stated. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times. One person aged 18 or over can accompany a maximum of six children. The GLF maintains a Safeguarding Policy but cannot take responsibility for unsupervised children.
If you need a support person or aide to attend events, they are entitled to a free Companion Ticket. Contact the Box Office or email [email protected] as soon as possible after booking your ticket. Free Companion Tickets cannot be booked online.
