You can support the festival in many different ways

It would be impossible to stage an event like the Guernsey Literary Festival without the generous support of our sponsors, patrons, partners and volunteers.

Affiliating yourself or your company with the Festival shows that you are committed to promoting literacy and challenging and inspiring readers of all ages and of all walks of life. We believe in the power of great writing to transform our way of thinking and our lives.

Volunteer

If you have been a volunteer in past years, our most grateful thanks; we will be in touch to find out if you are able to help again this year. If, however, you're interested in volunteering with us for the first time please get in touch.

We need as many volunteers as possible in order to get everything to run smoothly during the week's events. We don't want to overload anyone and will make sure everyone has time to attend plenty of events! There are all sorts of roles with which we need help, from chaperoning speakers to collecting tickets at the venues.

You will be invited to a briefing meeting in advance of the Festival as well as to our Opening Party during the Festival itself.
