Margaret Jones
Margaret Jones is the Schools Education Liaison Officer of the Victor Hugo in Guernsey Society and a member of the Victor Hugo Centre Advisory Group. With a background in French Language and Literature, Margaret has spent 30 years as a teacher and 10 years as a University Lecturer in Education. In Guernsey, she is involved in the Schools Programme of the Guernsey Literary Festival and has prepared pupils for participation in the French section of the Guernsey Eisteddfod. She helped translate a short play ‘L’Intervention’ (written by Hugo in Guernsey) for its world première in English at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts by members of GADOC.
