Kelvin Whelan

Kelvin Whelan is an author and entrepreneur based in Guernsey. After a successful career in finance he established the island’s only dedicated bookshop in July 2023, Writer’s Block, championing local writing talent and nurturing a loyal community of readers. He is an avid reader, writer, and history lover who has previously self-published two non-fiction history books about the island, Guernsey: A History and Guernsey: A Short History. His third book Last Man Hanging is his first foray into historical true crime.
