Jonnie Peacock

Jonnie Peacock is a double Paralympic 100-metre sprint champion. He won gold and set the Paralympic record at the age of just 19 at the London 2012 Olympic Games, going on to win gold again, and smash his own record at the Rio Paralympics in 2016. In the 2020 and 2024 games he won bronze and silver medals for Team GB. He was the first disabled contestant to compete on the main Strictly Come Dancing show and is passionate about challenging and changing other people’s perceptions around disability.

When he's not training he loves playing video games, eating peri-peri chicken and hanging out with his girlfriend, Sally, and his dogs, Bella and Luna. Jonnie’s new children’s book, You Can Do Anything! written in collaboration with children’s mental health expert Laura Earnshaw, aims to help young readers discover what it is they love and how to harness it so they can achieve whatever they want in life.
