Gerald Hough

Tony Hough captured the character of his generation, fighting tyranny and pure evil to give us peace in our time. He fought against Rommel in the Libyan desert for two years, firstly with the Rifle Brigade and then the SAS.  He was captured but in a classic escape and evasion story he managed to cross Allied lines in the deepest of winter. Tony’s son Gerald tells his story and the story of those that fought with him. Gerald worked in the City of London for many years before moving to Guernsey in 2007, turning to writing in his retirement.
