Poet Laureate Simon Armitage is best-known as an award-winning poet and lyricist who also writes for film, theatre, television and radio. His poems have been studied in schools for two decades now. A highly engaging performer, Simon Armitage will introduce and read from his work before taking questions. He is Professor of Poetry at the University of Leeds and was elected Professor of Poetry at the University of Oxford (2015-2019).
