Anna James

Anna James is a former school librarian and is now an author and freelance arts journalist. She has worked for The Bookseller, ELLE magazine, and written for places including The Pool, The LA Times, and Buzzfeed. Five books in the Pages & Co series have been published so far. The series has been translated into 21 languages, and has been a bestseller in the US.

Festival Schools Programme

When Anna visits schools she can run a fun, interactive presentation about Bookwandering, her Pages & Co series, and imagination. Children can choose how to travel around the world, looking at how Anna gets ideas for her stories, and learn how they might be able to use these tips for their own writing.
