Rodney Collenette

Rodney Collenette knows Ebenezer’s home territory like the back of his hand, having spent most of his life living within the earshot of the Vale Church bells (apart from six years ‘living abroad’ in St Martins). He has played Ebenezer twice in Joyce Cook’s stage adaptation of the novel for GADOC. Rodney was thrilled to play the title role, although as his family would agree, he didn’t have to act much.

Rodney was one of the founders of the Friends of St James, former President of La Société Guernesiaise and is also well known as a singer and stand-up comedian.
