Anthony Mcgowan

We are thrilled to welcome Anthony McGowan back to Guernsey. Anthony has written two literary thrillers and seven young adult novels, including The Knife That Killed Me, which was made into a highly acclaimed film. He has also written widely for younger children. Anthony will have three new books out in 2017: Everybody Hurts, a young adult novel co-written with Jo Nadin, a picture book, I Killed Santa, illustrated by Chris Riddell, and The Art of Failing, described by Nick Hornby as eccentric, charming, maddening, and very, very funny.

Plunging the Depths: The Dark, Deranged and Dangerous World of Anthony McGowan

Anthony McGowan is your guide through the comedy and tragedy of teenage life.  He'll be discussing Brock, Pike and Rook, his award-winning trilogy of books featuring brothers Kenny and Nicky, as well as his other teenage fiction, from Hellbent to Hello Darkness.  Expect to laugh. And to cringe.
