Litfest Sampler #1

Here's five quick Litfest 2014 previews you can enjoy without having to move an inch:

First up here's Luke Wright - poet, Essex Lion and Mondeo Man - performing 'B-Movie.'  If you like what you can see, there is lots more of his work on his website.

For poetry of a slightly different pace, investigate former laureate Sir Andrew Motion by streaming readings from the Poetry Archive, the founding of which Sir Andrew will discuss in his second talk of the Litfest weekend.

If you haven't yet been persuaded to pop along to CineGuernsey's screening of Hideous Kinky, the film based on Litfest-star Esther Freud's first novel, here's the trailer to try and tempt you along.

Get a taste of Tim Dowling's style ahead of his talk, 'How To Be A Husband In The 21st Century' by perusing his Weekend column, published every Saturday in the Guardian.

And to round off this short collection here's a video that features air ukelele and a replica of the FA Cup made out of beer bottle tops.  It should give you a flavour of what Far Fetched Fiction author Robert Rankin is all about.
