Guernsey Lit Fest partners with The Big Book Weekend
We should be basking in the success of another great Guernsey literary Festival, which would have been held last weekend, but, of course, events took a different turn.
So what do literary festival aficionados do when all their events are cancelled? They go online to a virtual festival.
The Big Book Weekend is taking place from 8-10th May (the coming weekend) and the Guernsey Literary Festival is one of its festival partners. The Big Book Weekend includes an online interview of GLF Honorary Chairman Terry Waite by Tony Gallienne on Friday 8 May at 6pm. The subject is Isolation – very apt at the moment.
The Weekend also includes writers such as Maggie O’Farrell, Neil Gaiman, Alexander McCall Smith and Marian Keyes, as well as lots of other virtual talks and sessions for children and adults. The programme is free. More information and details about joining the sessions here: https://bigbookweekend.com
