Book in Person

Tickets to events will be available on the door before each event, subject to availability.

All telephone bookings are managed directly by the Festival by calling +44 (0)7781 143545. For all other enquiries please email [email protected].

Ticket Prices

All ticket prices are listed for adults (18 and over) and children (17 and under) unless otherwise stated.

For safety, those attending events with a child’s ticket (aged 15 and below) need to be accompanied by a ticket holder aged 18 or over. All ages are recommendations, you know your child best. All our family events are relaxed.

Everyone over the age of 12 months is allocated a seat and requires a ticket, while babies in arms (12 months and under) do not require a ticket unless otherwise stated. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times. One person aged 18 or over can accompany a maximum of six children. The Guernsey Literary Festival maintains a Safeguarding Policy but cannot take responsibility for unsupervised children. A copy of our full Safeguarding Policy is available here.

The GLF reserves the right to change any event without prior notice. A booking fee is charged by Ticket Source when booking online, and all telephone bookings will incur a £1.50 booking fee. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, except in the case of a cancelled event.

*Please still book for FREE events unless it's stated that booking isn't required.

Access

To book wheelchair space in performance venues or any other special requirements for access, please email [email protected]. For disabled parking, please contact the Festival venues directly regarding availability.

Festival Bookshop

Lexicon Bookshop will stock Festival books for the duration of the Festival and is located at 23-25 Le Pollet. You will also be able to buy books at each of the events, and authors will be signing books after their events.

Bringing you a More Sustainable Festival

The Guernsey Literary Festival looks to reduce and minimise the environmental impact of the literary events it provides wherever possible. We balance the carbon emissions resulting from the travel of speakers coming to the island by investing in local environmental and biodiversity projects, alongside making every effort to reduce energy and resources used in all aspects of the events. We thank the team at FutureTracker.com for their support in managing our GHG emissions.
