The founder Hilary Bradt recalls the highs and lows of budget travel in the 1970s, and starting a publishing company in a happy state of ignorance. In this entertaining talk she recalls some of her more bizarre experiences with the media, including finding herself trying to demonstrate ‘10 uses for condoms in the jungle’ for BBC2.
