Anna Mazzola’s chilling, mesmerising and darkly delicious novel The Book of Secrets is a tale of sorcery and survival based on the real prosecution of a circle of women in Rome in 1659.

Mary Horlock’s new novel, the Stranger’s Companion is a beguiling historian mystery set on Sark in 1933, and inspired by the true and highly sensational disappearance of a young couple from the cliffs.

Jenny O’Brien’s crime thriller Roses for the Dead is packed with mystery and suspense.
