Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie film scriptwriter Thomas Bezucha is the American writer and director of the award-winning films Big Eden, The Family Stone (starring Diane Keaton and Sarah Jessica Parker), and Monte Carlo (starring Selena Gomez).
Big Eden (2000) was his big break into films. He had been working in the creative division of fashion designer Polo/Ralph Lauren and developing his film script. He found a producer for it and directed the film as well. Variety listed him as one of the ‘10 screenwriters to watch’ in 2000.
