Take One Book Art Exhibition: by Open Secret Art Group

Loughborough artists respond to Jeanette Winterson’s autobiography Why Be Happy When You Can Be Normal. Every person’s story is different and to illustrate this, we present 2D and 3D artwork some taking phrases or descriptions and reworking them symbolically, others showing literature can inspire empowerment and liberation through education, prompt creative expression of emotions, or evoke powerful childhood memories.
